Individual Counseling

Don’t give away your soul lest you be tempted. Our soul is our heart, mind and emotions. Many times we are tempted and sometimes asked to give of ourselves and soon find the one we are giving to is just as empyt as when we just began giving. There is no way we can be everything for everyone.
In giving any of this away, we suffer and findd ourselves empty. I liken this lesson to to Galatians 3:13 “Every man hung on a tree is cursed,” therefore, only Christ can save!! We are not called to save others or be everything for anyone. Amen!

Are you emotionally in pain… mentally depressed, Spiritually stressed, but physically smiling? There is a way known to God who made you lean on his every promise. I’m here to guide in following his plan for an anxiety free life. He provides for us freedom from worry and comfort in his presence. by the Holy Spirits power, peace will prevail.

We all struggle with it from time to time.
Here are 4 steps to overcoming depression with biblical truths…
1. Write down what is bothering you.
2. Ask yourself “Can I carry this by myself?”
3. Are you willing to put your problem down?
4. Pick up who you are in Christ
Use thes scriptures:
A. You are my sons and daughters, say the Lord Almighty. (2nd Corinthians 6:17-18.)
B. You are made complete in Christ! (Colossians 2:10).
C. You have been given a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind! Hallelujah!! (2nd Timothy 1:7).
D. Be blessed and claim the blessings he lavishes upon you in your everyday walk with him.

Here are 4 steps to peace…
1. Be open to a different way of thinking in order to see change in habits and anger
2. Know your Triggers
3. Take time outs
4. Relax and deep breath in Christ

Anger may be a habit for some of us. Our feelings of anger are manifested by a certain trigger. This trigger, whether it be traffic or our child coming home pregnant. There are many triggers and each of us has them. The catch is knowing when to stop the anger process. This is important, however right now let’s talk about how we interpret our trigger. This interpretation of the trigger is what sets the “pot a boiling” if you will. It is here also, where the water can be cooled or we can take time out.
When we see some of the good points of the situation at hand we can go on with a positive attitude. As with the pregnant child coming home, we see the life of a new child. As with the traffic, the realization of your arriving home safely is paramount.
With our life long beliefs setting the stage of how things should be we create habits, which become automatic. When all things are considered, anger can be made into a new habit, a habit of love and understanding. This way we develop healthy interpretations.
Without logical and healthy interpretation, anger festers sending us into a mode of uncontrollability.
Healthy interpretation promotes the recognition of one’s own anger, providing techniques and paths for proper outlets via therapeutic communication.
