It is true, ”The messy, imperfect, brave, scared, creative, loving, compassionate, wholehearted me,” in all of us is what Christ wants us all to reveal. This is our process of fully glorifying God by being who He truly meant for us to be.
As far as it lasting a lifetime…I’m counting on it! I welcomed this change in my life, even though those around me did not. That’s what made my beginning process so difficult.
Helping others embrace change and growth is what God has called me to do as I encourage my clients on a daily basis to be who God created them to be.
And she’s correct when she says some stay where they are and never change with the same glass of wine while numbing their pain. Some surround themselves with continuous activity and miss the opportunity to embrace the sweet grace of God they could share with others.
This glorifying of God by being who He made us to be is meant to be a lifetime process. We can call it midlife or unraveling. I call it living the life baby!
